MASTER OF ARTS IN ADULT LEARNING
AND DEVELOPMENT
Applications are invited for a one-year modular Open Learning course
leading to a Certificate in Training and Education.
Students who successfully complete the Certificate may proceed to further Open Learning
courses leading to a Diploma (level 7) and Bachelor of Arts (level 8) Honours Degree in Training and Education.
Applications are also invited for a Master of Arts (level 9) in Adult Learning and Development.
The courses are aimed at trainers, educational consultants, human resource specialists and those planning a career in the educational, industrial, commercial, voluntary and community sectors.
This flexible Open Learning model enables adults to undertake recognised university courses up
to Masters degree level through the medium of self-instructional texts, workshops, continuous assessment and tutor support.
Opportunities may also be available for progression to Phd level studies (level 10).
