TE174: Organisational Management: Human Resources
(Credits: 10 ECTS • Workshop: 2 days)
Focusing on the area of human resource development, topics include organisation development, employee involvement, training and team development.
TE176: Research Methods in the Social Sciences
(Credits: 5 ECTS • Workshop: 1 day)
This module considers the process and procedures associated with research and design.
TE175: Project Management
(Credits: 5 ECTS • Workshop: 1 day)
The Project Planning, Management and Evaluation module introduces business and project management techniques.
TE172: Lifelong Learning in Europe
(Credits: 5 ECTS • Workshop: 1 Day)
The Lifelong Learning in Europe module examines concepts, theoretical models and debates on lifelong learning in a European context.
TE184: Introduction to Quality Management
(Credits: 10 ECTS • Workshop: 2 Days)
This module introduces organisation for quality, business process re-engineering, total quality management and IT applications in business and training.
TE301: Work-Based Project
(Credits: 10 ECTS • Workshop: 1 day)
Course participants are required to submit a work-based project (4,000 words). |
Course assessment
Assessment for Year III may be based on a combination of written assignments, written examinations and a work-based project.
Note: Modules of equivalent status may be offered on each year of the programme.
Participants must successfully complete all course requirements before proceeding to the next year of the Bachelor of Arts programme.
